  1. Blah blah blog! Love it!

  2. Btw, which Sunday does the sale end?
    Yeah, couldn’t resist.

  3. Hey Laz, dropped in, enjoyed reading through everything. You’ve presented a great variety of short poems! Other than haiku or some similar forms, I haven’t felt comfortable with these short snippets myself, but yours offer another possibility I haven’t allowed myself much freedom to explore. Great blog!

    • Thank you so very much!

I appreciate you reading them all, that means a lot to me!
and if this helps to open a new door for your short poems,
it is a fine compliment………..I am honored.

      Peace to you,
      Laz

  4. Thanks for your kind comment on my weblog, I will be visiting your weblog on a regular base too. Keep up the good work. 🙂

  5. I have really enjoyed reading through your poems and I really like how you write, and all the ideas contained in such short verses!. I never could get the hang of Haiku – If I had a hat it would be tipped in your direction.
I’ll be sure to return to this WordPress to enjoy your poems some more! 🙂

  6. I love it when poetry isn’t too intense, too riddled with words one can’t understand [much less pronounce]..too…self-absorbed [so the reader can’t get what ON EARTH the poet’s go on and on about]
    Simplicity is so beautiful.
I’m so glad you dropped by my blog and that led a very curious me to discover your work!
    The haikus are great.
I really enjoyed reading all your posts.
    Keep updating 😀

    cheers!

  7. Really like your writing. Amazing use of form and rhythm.

    Ruth

  11. Yup, I like the shortness. I love the Humour, it’s the Epicenter of life. Much better than the Hypocenter *yawn*
Anyway I think I’ll write a poem about funny things.
    Laz you’ve inspired me!
    🙂

  12. You have an amazing way with words! Love the short forms, the haikus. I read about ten of them. Thanks for stopping by my humble blog. Aren’t words wonderful??

  16. heyy,

    thanks for the comment 🙂

i’ve just read through some of your poetry and – i know this has been said before – but i really admire how you manage to keep everything so condensed and potent! i think it’s especially important seeing as there are a good few people who seem to have little patience for, or appreciation of, poetry and are deterred by long soliloquies and epic poems (after all, that’s far too much effort). however, i’m sure that nobody could resist your style and eloquence 🙂

    take care,

    Rivult x

  17. Laz, I have an interesting page about haiku to send you, if interested. My email is berto_terrell@yahoo.com

  18. Hey Laz,

Keep in touch. G 🙂

  20. hey, thanks for reading my post on the stupidity of the G-20. what exactly did they accomplish?

anyhow, read some of your poems. not bad. it seems you’re really into haiku, a very difficult form.

hope to read more good stuff from you.

  21. Enjoying your haiku very much.
    take care!

  22. I would love to know where you get your inspiration from! You are so creative and descriptive – any book you write would be a pleasure to read. How can you express so much in so few words? Must be Magic!! Chloe 😀

  23. Thank you for expressing your gift!

  24. Hi Laz,
Can’t wait for your book. In the meantime, your blog is wonderful. I Can’t believe this outpouring of creativity. Best — monica

  25. Choosing will be hard – so many beauties!

  26. Laz, do join in our baton haiku. You’ll find it on my page or Pseu’s. It’s a haiku Pseu started, I picked up the baton. I think Pseu may have taken it back, but it’d be really nice if it were to travel in wider circle…

  27. Hi Laz, WordPress sent me a note about you – they think you are Canadian. If that’s right, and I got it wrong, I apologize. It’s fun to know where people are from. Good wishes, Monica P.S. WordPress seems to have a new system when people comment/like, etc.

  28. Well then, I meant to include you in my paean to British poets. I should have broadened it to include British, Canadian, and Australian poets. Best wishes, Monica

  29. Hi Laz,
Just to let you know – again – that I LOVE your poetry and could click the “like” button for every one.

  30. Laz–have you finished writing your book?

  31. Dear Laz, I hope you have gorgeous, relaxing, and happy holidays and a New Year of peace and joy.
    Very best wishes, Monica

  32. enjoyed reading. thanks, L.

  33. Hi Laz, I clicked to leave a comment and managed to click the “unsubscribe” button. So I immediately re-subscribed. Couldn’t live without your poems.

  34. aloha Laz. the work that brought me here is awesome – Draws Buddha – it got me here through Steve’s (heednotsteve) blog. i see more work in this vein that i like too. yeah – a different haiku form. extremely effective (imo) – and very cool. each word – zing – impact. and each word altering the words that go on before it. yeah. . .

    very

    awe

    ah-ha

    and ahhhhh

    ing

    work

i noticed… at the bottom of a number of your posts different patterns. i thought initially of I CHING (at the bottom of Draws Buddha). altho after looking at several others i’m not so sure of that now. if i’m not intruding, i’d like to know your thinking on those… i too have patterns i use at time in my work. which is probably why i’m curious. aloha \-\\-/|0

  35. I agree. Just writing my thoughts down in the form of poetry or any other way is a great release for me. I have never tried to write haiku. I may try sometime, but hear it can be difficult. I guess it depends on how inspired one feels.

  36. Hi Laz, thanx for stopping by and for your kind comment. I like your site and the special way of your writing….simple words can be amazing as well
    Have a wonderful day

  50. Hello Laz, I was just reading some of the comments. Man we’ve been doing this a while! I didn’t write a thing in 2015! Sad. But 2016 is year is looking a whole lot better for this poet wanna be. Except wordpress is a problem for me now, I think. I just tried to do some text formatting, which is a part of my creative process now. When I tried to save, the WP software stripped it all out! I guess they made that change in 2015. So I will be leaving WP. After all these years and a million posts! Oh well. I may just build my own website. Then I can make them look any way I want!! 🙂 But I will have to keep my old blogs here – I don’t want to move them. And I have WP friends, like you and Sarah, and others. I have to keep visiting!

    • Glad to hear from you Robbie!!, indeed keep your old blogs alive, I really dig your poetry and find your words motivating!Keep on keeping on, Man! I hope your new blogs bring you more happiness and less frustration, Peace to you….your friend, Laz
